Our Mission: A Soil Deal for Europe
SOILL-Startup is a key contributor to the EU Mission: A Soil Deal for Europe (Mission Soil). We do this by:
- Building a Network: At the heart of our work is supporting the network of 100 Soil Health Living Labs and Lighthouses across Europe, which are real-world testing grounds for innovative soil solutions;
- Empowering Innovators: We provide comprehensive support, including essential easy-to-read information, capacity building, knowledge exchange, and monitoring to ensure these hubs thrive;
- Fostering Collaboration: We connect labs, stakeholders, and other key projects to accelerate Europe's transition to healthy soils for everyone.
To power this network and foster true collaboration, we have developed the SOILL Hub. This purpose-built digital environment is the central meeting point for the entire soil health community: from Living Labs and Lighthouses to researchers and policymakers.
The Hub provides the tools and inclusive space needed for stakeholders to connect, share knowledge, and drive innovation together, transforming our collaborative vision into tangible action.
It combines the capabilities of a social network, a collaborative workspace, and a knowledge exchange system into one integrated platform, featuring a personalised newsfeed, thematic groups for focused discussion, an interactive Atlas of Living Labs and Lighthouses, a dedicated Helpdesk, and much more.
Step into the SOILL Hub, explore the tools, and connect with the community shaping the future of European soils.
