TRANSFORMIT

The synergy between SOILL and the EU-funded TRANSFORMIT project is reflected in TRANSFORMIT's contribution to the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Event "Protecting and Enhancing Forest Soil Health: Tools for Forest Advisors", held in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 1 October 2025. The project addresses the challenge of balancing productive forestry with biodiversity conservation through integrative forest management. 

TRANSFORMIT promotes collaboration between science, policy, and practice by integrating existing knowledge and fostering mutual learning among stakeholders. It develops tools and approaches such as stakeholder engagement platforms, living labs, and evidence-based guidelines to support the implementation and upscaling of integrative forest management across Europe. 

The project contributes practical solutions, decision-support tools, and innovative technologies to improve forest resilience, support ecosystem services, and align forest management with EU climate and biodiversity objectives.
