Re Soil Foundation
The SOILL project partners with the Re Soil Foundation, an initiative established in 2020 by the University of Bologna, Coldiretti, Novamont, and Turin Polytechnic to safeguard soil as a vital natural resource. Driven by a shared mission to catalyse a step-change in soil health and promote local regeneration, this synergy bridges scientific research, technological innovation, and educational outreach. By connecting diverse stakeholders across the agricultural, academic, and industrial sectors, both SOILL and the Re Soil Foundation work collaboratively to advance soil literacy, support systemic decarbonization, and secure a sustainable future with healthy soils at its core.
This collaborative effort includes the active integration of expertise during the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Events. Together, the initiatives explored pathways for sustainable land management at the “Organic Agriculture and Agroecology: Partnering with Living Labs to Improve Soil Health” event in Brussels, Belgium, on June 4, 2025. The collaboration continued at the “Mission Soil Living Labs and Soil Literacy: Empowering Communities for Healthy Soils” gathering in Turin, Italy, on June 11, 2025. Through these joint engagements, the synergy translates shared environmental goals into actionable solutions, empowering local communities and utilising living labs to drive agricultural innovation.
