Luke

The synergy between SOILL and Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is reflected in its participation in the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Events "Protecting and Enhancing Forest Soil Health: Tools for Forest Advisors" on 1 October 2025 and "Soil-Water Nexus: Advancing Resilient Agroecosystems Through Living Lab Synergies" on 21 August 2025. The organisation supports sustainable land use and soil health through interdisciplinary research and innovation. 

Luke conducts extensive research on renewable natural resources, including agriculture, forestry, and food systems, contributing to evidence-based solutions for environmental and societal challenges. With a strong involvement in European research projects, it generates knowledge and data to support sustainable management practices and policy development. 

The organisation contributes scientific expertise, data, and innovation capacity to support soil health, ecosystem resilience, and the transition towards sustainable and climate-smart land use across Europe.
