iCOSHELLs

The synergy between SOILL and the EU-funded iCOSHELLs project is reflected in iCOSHELLs' contribution to the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Event "Organic Agriculture and Agroecology: Partnering with Living Labs to Improve Soil Health", held in Brussels, Belgium, on 4 June 2025. The project addresses the widespread degradation of European soils by promoting innovative and collaborative approaches to soil restoration.

iCOSHELLs establishes Soil Health Living Labs across different European regions to co-create, test, and validate practical solutions for improving soil health. It brings together researchers, land managers, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and real-world application. 

The project contributes scalable solutions, strengthened stakeholder engagement, and improved understanding of soil health indicators, supporting the transition towards resilient and sustainable soil systems across Europe.
