eco2adapt
The synergy between SOILL and the EU-funded eco2adapt project is reflected in eco2adapt's contribution to the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Event "Protecting and Enhancing Forest Soil Health: Tools for Forest Advisors", held in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 1 October 2025. The project addresses the growing impacts of climate change on forests, including disturbances such as drought, storms, pests, and diseases.
eco2adapt develops an ecosystem-based adaptation framework grounded in Nature-Based Solutions and applies it through Living Labs in climate hotspot regions. It combines scientific knowledge and stakeholder engagement to support decision-making, using tools such as scenario modelling, digital platforms, and the OneForest ToolBox application.
The project contributes innovative tools, data-driven approaches, and governance solutions to monitor forest vulnerability, strengthen resilience, and support adaptive forest management in line with climate and environmental objectives.
