AI4SoilHealth

The synergy between SOILL and the EU-funded AI4SoilHealth project is reflected in AI4SoilHealth's contribution to the SOILL-Startup Thematic Engagement Event "Caring for Soils: Insights from EU Mission Soil Projects on Measurement, Monitoring, and Management", held online on 12 December 2024. The project supports the transition towards healthy soils by advancing digital and data-driven approaches to soil monitoring. 

AI4SoilHealth develops an open-access European digital infrastructure based on artificial intelligence, including a Soil Digital Twin, harmonised soil health indicators, and user-oriented tools for assessment and monitoring. These solutions are co-designed and tested with stakeholders to ensure usability and relevance across different land-use contexts. 

The project contributes innovative digital tools, harmonised methodologies, and open data resources to support decision-making, policy development, and sustainable soil management across Europe.
