The 3rd European Carbon Farming Summit, Europe’s leading event dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture and low-carbon farming solutions, will take place from 17 to 19 March 2026 at the Padova Congress Centre in Padua, Italy.
The event is designed to bring together researchers, policymakers, economic actors, NGOs, land managers, and carbon project developers to collectively shape the future of sustainable agriculture.

About the Summit
Building on the success of the 2025 edition in Dublin, the summit in Padua will once again be a pivotal gathering for hundreds of stakeholders committed to a sustainable and profitable future for European agriculture.
The European Carbon Farming Summit provides a crucial space for the sector to agree on the best mechanisms to scale robust climate action. It is built on the principle that dialogue drives progress, and the involvement of every stakeholder is essential to safeguarding the environmental integrity of carbon farming.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Explore the latest innovations in carbon farming and soil health;
- Connect with a diverse network of experts and practitioners;
- Discover practical strategies for implementing regenerative practices in agriculture.
The summit is a collaborative effort, organised and supported by leading European initiatives:
- Organised by SAE Innova and the SOILL-Startup partner - Climate-KIC, as part of the Project Credible consortium;
- Co-hosted by EIT Food, as the LILAS4SOILS coordinator;
- Supported by Confagricoltura Veneto and Veneto Agricoltura.
